Hi, my name is
I am professional Foreign Languages Teacher
Learn-Teach the neverending process
First of all, I do not consider my self as just a teacher, but as a passionate learner. We all are creative beings by nature, but we do need meaningful experiences which allow us to channel our creative potential. Purpose, focus and visualization are main elements in my classes, they give sense, clarity and a common goal to achieve.
We do not learn what is not interesting for us, but we need to widen our horizon in order to know that out of our bubble there is so much to know and to fall in love with. That is why traveling and getting in touch with a different culture is a way of enriching one’s perspective.
Paradoxically when we furnish the students with a lot of sensory resources (images, recordings, texts, videos, etc.) they may lose focus, and become overstimulated. For me it is more important to privilege the student imaginative and performative capacity. In doing so I developed a sensory strategy of kinesthesic-iconic-emotive representations. These representations are created by the student him/her self, and are articulated to a story or a communicative situation.
Something else about me, I love neuro and quantic science!

COURSE AND SYLLABUS DESIGN
Where did I get my skills
2012 — 2018
Universidad Pedagógica Nacional
Degree in Spanish and Foreign Languages Teaching (English & French)
The studies and practices at the University allowed me to become more knowledgeable and qualified in areas of pedagogy, linguistics, psychology, literature, language teaching methodologies and research methods. These various fields have all heavily contributed to, and influed my teaching methodology. Knowledge is not an unchangeable state of matter, it is in continuous change, it changes because we, human beings re-create and re-construct our conception and perception of life and ourselves according to the experiences and attitudes we adopt over time. Language makes part of this human construction.
